Litle changes on the battlefield today.

•  The Allies got some 75 ponders
•  Germany got 3 x Panzer III with turret skirt, their where for Panzers III with hull skirts. So I need to print 3 new hulls and why not print 3 turrets as well. 
• And another cute little tankkette polish TKS 
• Printed M5 Stuart Light Tank, like it and will print some more, probably 2 extra.

Fake cast-iron coin slot for your DIY Arcade machine

Printed fake coin slot, found it on thingiverse, modified some what parts

spay the fake slot silver, used a cloth and some extra paint her and there to create iron casting effect.

I made it that 1 euro cent will fit into the slot, ill use LDR and LED to detect if someone trowed in a coined.

First layer coating Tiger 1 and Hetzer (38t), 3d printerded two M3 75mm GMC

Tiger 1 early edition and Hetzer will get medium/dark grey finish. Tiger 1 was printed in black PLA, use grey a base coating is always a good idea. I ordered 10 x 10 x 1mm Balsa wood for bases, hope they will arrive soon. Will glue two or three together and make nice sloop.

Look who is out on the battlefield! It's the Tiger 1 early edition, with 8.8cm Kwk 36 cannon. So the proper color for this model would be grey I guess(did a quick search). What a monster, by far the biggest tank in my arsenal . 😁

No the game rules, would be nice to have my own WW2 board game to play with my family/friends some day.

The hobby is growing fast, but most of the work is done by the 3d printer, modeling tanks from materials would be to hard and time consuming.

Painted some tanks, Sherman Firefly, Otter. etc

Some of my new tanks got there first coat of paint, now the imperfections are much more visible. The otter need most sanding and I ordered modeling putty to fix some problems on some tanks.  This batch of green turned out to be better than the first batch. 😃

You can clearly see that white/light grey PLA isn't the best color for dark color paint.

If I need some stress relieve I work on my tanks(or other projects), this is the results of this week.

Baby Groot got 1 layer of mat to vanish.
Painted Jagdpanther green with Germany white/black gross.
Painted panther IV also green.
And the Churchill got the leftover of the green.
Next layer will be some camouflage


I mix all the colors myself form the 3 primary colors. Yellow, red and blue, have also black ans white and box of small tubes of different colors but I almost never use those.

Love this old hobby again that I did as a child. 😀
